I am James Fitzgerald Andrews and I’m 28 years old. I was born and raised in the beautiful village of Sittee River where I believe I was born with a purpose to do great things. From a young boy growing up, I was motivated by my dad’s work. He was a great dive instructor and most of the time I would accompany him on tours and that’s where the love for the ocean grew. I wanted to be a great tour guide just like him. The road wasn’t easy but every failure I had, made me stronger. My main goal was to become the captain of my own ship since my passion is for the ocean. After 28 years, it finally came into reality. Thanks to God and my family for motivating me through good and bad times.

James Andrews grew up along the Sittee River in Hopkins, Belize along with his 3 brothers and sister. After working his way through school, he went on to receive his Dive Master certification and went to work for tour operators in the area.
James knows every corner of Southern Belize and has extensive knowledge of the waters and wildlife. He enjoys working with guests and is always smiling and making people laugh. He is also highly trained in safety protocols and making sure that guests have the best time possible while under his watch.
James’ dream was to create his own tour company and he worked tirelessly to get to that point. Supporting his young family and recently rebuilding his old family home along the Sittee River, James is now happy to be taking guests out on his own boat and showing them the best of what Belize has to offer!
